Neil Newby is an EMMY nominated Director of Photography based out of the United States. He has been working professionally in the camera department since 2015.

He started his career in the camera department as a camera PA on small commercial shoots with local companies. this led to him getting work on indie feature films as a 2nd assistant camera. He gradually worked his way up from 2nd to 1st assistant camera working as a focus puller on union feature films and television. From that he went on to camera operate. he worked as a Camera operator for multiple years getting experience with the main shooting units on union feature films and televison shows.

as he progressed. He got the opportunity to work on 2nd unit, as a Cinematographer, on several feature films. Honing his skills as a Director of Photography. He is currently a full time DP.
